This place has become a second home. The community is supportive & tight-knit, there’s always someone willing to help with spotting, sharing knowledge, or cheering you on.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to give back, spotting and loading at meets, helping establish the livestream, and being part of the energy that makes this gym special.

SBC represents Olympic, Powerlifting, Strongman, & Special Olympic through meets. You will see some gyms host a handful of those meets, but never all of them.

As a Strongman, SBC is the best gym in the area. Strongman requires very specific equipment & other local gyms have a fraction of the equipment SBC does. SBC also hosts lots of Strongman athletes of various levels. Every athlete gets along & collaborates to work towards our goals due to the awesome environment at SBC.

Before I came to SBC, all I really knew was that people benched & squatted. After joining, I found out what it’s like to be part of a community that cares — a group that motivates you and pushes you to get as strong as possible.
